To commence your CrossFit journey you will need to undertake our Basics Program which consists of two group (maximum 4) sessions. These two sessions guide you through the fundamental movements of Crossfit and provide you with confidence to enter the group sessions.
The Group Basics sessions run on a Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Alternatively you can book these sessions as a 1 on 1 with one of our Coaches.
- A Coach briefs the session - explains what we are looking for in the movement patterns and provides a demonstration of the movement, explains the intent of the workout and how that is achieved through appropriate scaling where required.
- 2 Coaches take you through a structured warm up
- Main part of the session commences with a strength or skill piece
- Followed by a Conditioning piece/workout which varies daily in terms of movements, duration and style
- Pack up equipment
- Cool down - stretching
Weightlifting Sessions are included as part of your membership. These sessions focus specifically on the Snatch and Clean and Jerk and accessory movements to these lifts. A variation of the CrossFit workout of the day is also included at the end of the sessions for those that wish to complete it.
The FIT sessions are child friendly and run for 45 minutes 3 times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's. The sessions are a variation of the CrossFit workout of the day and can be scaled individually for each member as required.
CrossFit Kids & Teens
The CrossFit Kids and Teens program runs in line with the School Terms on Monday to Friday from 4pm - 4:45pm. These sessions are split into Kids (5 years +) and Teens (13+) with a Coach allocated for each group. Kids and Teens learn new skills and correct movement patterns in a fun inclusive environment.
This is a fantastic program to develop kids/teens movement patterns and strength as they continue to grow. We have seen amazing results from all of the kids that have attended the program over the years. If you are interested, please contact us to organise a free trial.
